Corey Luna

Dr. Corey Luna grew up in Los Angeles, dreaming of becoming an artist or wolf biologist. Her love of all critters, both domestic and otherwise, was fueled by parents who supported her passion for animals and her family's surprising number of pets, which included dogs, rabbits, desert tortoises, chickens, guinea pigs, iguanas, bearded dragons, goldfish, a snake, a hamster, a crawdad, and a rotating cast of local caterpillars to be released back into the wild once they metamorphosed into butterflies.

While in college, she decided that her love of science and animals made veterinary medicine an ideal career choice. She did her undergrad at Colorado College and UC Davis, then returned to Colorado again to attend veterinary school at Colorado State University.

Dr. Luna returned to California after graduating, and now enjoys meeting a variety of species (and their people) at Fairfax Vet Clinic. She has a passion for practical preventive medicine and fostering the human-animal bond.

In her spare time, Dr. Luna enjoys trail running, camping, reading, and doing arts and crafts projects. She lives in San Anselmo with her partner Nick and two dogs, Honey and Nat.
